By purchasing an automatic knife from Knight, you automatically acknowledge and accept the responsibilities and criteria mandated by federal law:
Federal Restrictions on Automatic Knives:
Automatic knives may not be shipped across state lines, except under these conditions:
- To civilian or military supply or procurement officials and Federal Government employees acquiring such knives in the course of official duties
- To active members of the Armed Forces engaged in official duties
- To procurement officers of the National Guard, Air National Guard, or state militia involved in official duties
- To procurement staff or employees of local governments, or governmental bodies of any state, territory, or political subdivision thereof
- To legitimate manufacturers or registered dealers of such knives for shipments that are part of an official order from any entities mentioned in items 1 through 4 above
Compliance: Knight will only sell automatic knives under the assurance that the sale meets one or more of the conditions listed above. As a purchaser, you recognize your duty to confirm and abide by all applicable laws (local, state, federal, and international) concerning the possession and purchase of automatic knives. Your purchase signifies that your acquisition and use of automatic knives from Knight meet the legal criteria set forth and that you will use these knives in compliance with your official duties as outlined.
Acknowledgment of Terms: By purchasing an automatic knife, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this compliance agreement. Knight reserves the right to refuse sale or service to anyone who does not comply with these terms.
This proactive acknowledgment through purchase ensures compliance with legal standards and Knight's policies on the responsible sale and distribution of automatic knives.
